 POST PLACEMENT SUPPORT OFFICER

 Do you want to contribute to make a real difference in your community?

CentaCare is looking for a committed Post Placement Support Officer to work in its Employment and Training Services in Orange.  In this position you will be responsible for the monitoring of job placements and claims as well as supporting the Industry Brokerage Unit including reverse marketing of job seekers to employers.  The position is full time.

Essential Criteria:

  • Excellent communication
  • Customer service skills
  • A proven track record in sales and business development
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Respect for Catholic ethos
  • Drivers Licence

FAMILY WORKER – PARKES AND OR PEAK HILL

CentaCare Wilcannia Forbes is seeking an enthusiastic individual to support and mentor young parents in Parkes and/or Peak Hill. You will also provide early childhood learning and developmental opportunities to families with children aged 0-8 years including PEDAL (Play, Explore, Discover and Learn) groups in partnership with schools.

This newly created role is flexible in delivery and focused on attracting the right person for the job. You will bring experience in social and or educational services, an ability to work independently and as part of a team, good organisational and communication skills, an appreciation of Aboriginal culture, a respect for Catholic ethos and your driver’s licence. Qualifications in the early childhood field are desirable.

This position offers a wonderful opportunity to work in partnership with local organisations to make a real difference to families.

PARTNERSHIP BROKER CONSULTANT

• Strategic Community Role
• Based in Dubbo

CentaCare provides a broad range of innovative social services in response to
the needs of communities in western NSW.

The Commonwealth funded “Schools Business Community Partnership
Program” strives to increase business and community engagement with
schools. The program fosters a whole of community approach that supports
young people’s learning and development through partnerships between four
key stakeholder groups: education and training providers; business and
industry; parents and families; and community groups. These partnerships
support schools to cater for the diverse needs of their students by harnessing
community resources, actively engaging parents and families in their children’s
learning, connecting classroom learning to real life application and engaging or
re-engaging young people in education through to Year 12 or equivalent
attainment.

The Partnership Broker Consultant is an autonomous, innovative role requiring
relevant experience and maturity, with well developed negotiation and
influencing skills. The position is full time and based in Dubbo. Travel on a
regular basis will be required to Bourke, Brewarrina and Cobar.
